DERADS is an engineering consulting group led by professionals with extensive experience in the areas of new nuclear power plant design and licensing applications.
The DERADS engineers have been involved with several of the major new reactor projects currently under licensing review by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). DERADS consultants have experience interacting with the NRC throughout the licensing review process including the preparation of responses to Requests for Additional Information (RAIs) and presentations to the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS).
Along with involvement in the licensing activities for new reactor design certification applications, DERADS engineers have supported the design work for nuclear systems as well as auxiliary systems for several nuclear power plant units.
